And don’t miss our Yuletide Feast in the dark of winter; Christmas is the greatest festivity of the year in the Nordic countries, lasting for the whole month of December. Originally a pagan affair, Christmas celebrates health and happiness, family, friends and enjoyment of life. So, it is hardly surprising that a traditional Viking feast is at the heart of Christmas, the heady scent of mulled wine and the sizzle of roasting meat filling the air. It is fitting, therefore, that a feast of this magnitude be held during the colder months of the year so that you can take advantage of deliciously spiced mulled gløgg and the hearty fare of a northern winter.
